如果说之前的虚拟语气还需要你对动词进行一些变化的话，今天讲的这个就再简单不过了，动词根本就不用变化，就是 Should + do(动词原形)，不过却很有迷惑性，令人迷惑的地方就在于，经常会把这个 Should 给省略掉，这样的话前面如果碰到 He/She/It 做主语，你就会疑问：这个动词需不需要加个“s”呀？好吧，确实很挠头~

不过你也不用怕，因为已经总结出来了规律，一般表示要求、建议、命令、安排、决定等的动词，跟在他们后面的宾语从句用虚拟语气（should）do，一起先看几个例子：
1. I suggest that he (should) consult the doctor as soon as possible.
我建议他尽快去看医生。(注意：在此句中不能用consults)
2. Tony demands that his customers (should) be punctual.
Tony 老师严格要求顾客守时 (看看：如果去掉 should 是不是就懵了？)
3. It was arranged that he be isolated from other patients.
已经安排好将他与其他病人隔离。(注意：去掉 should 感受一下)
4. In this country, it is required that anyone who has recently come here have to pay taxes.
在这个国家，任何近来这里的人都必须纳税。(注意：have to pay，而不是has to pay)
5. The doctor ordered Dad (should) take medications on time.
医生嘱咐爸爸按时服药。(注意：在此句中不能用 takes)

虚拟语气是中学英语语法中非常重要的一块。如果不懂虚拟语气，很多英语句子无法理解。if是虚拟语气中的重要角色，但是它可以省略。这让很多同学迷糊，今天我来跟大家详细分析一下它的省略用法。
if的省略有三种情况：had、were和should。
首先，在虚拟语气里面如果表达对过去发生的事情的虚拟，会用到had，我们就可以省略if，把had提前。Had you arrived ten minutes earlier, you could have seen that super star.如果你能早到十分钟的话，你就可以看到那个超级巨星了。这个句子是对过去的事情进行虚拟。它就是省略了if，提前了had。它的完整格式是：If you had arrived ten minutes earlier , you could have seen that super star.
其次，were也可以有这样的用法，但是were是针对现在的时态进行虚拟的时候使用的。Were I you, Iwould take that offer and enter that university. 如果我是你的话，我就会接受邀请，进入那个大学。它的完整格式是：If I were you, I would take that offer and enter that university.
第三，should是针对将来的事情虚拟的时候使用的。同样是省略if，把疑问词should提前。Should you join in the team tomorrow, the team would certaily win the game.其完整格式是If you should join in the team tomorrow, the team would certaily win the game.
可以看出，这个三个单词分别针对三个不同的时态。had是针对过去虚拟的时候用的，were是对现在的事情虚拟的时候用的，should是对将来的事情虚拟的时候用的。用法都是去掉if，把疑问词提前。
