形容词作状语其主要功能是表达人物做某个动作的原因、结果或者伴随状态。

表原因

1. Depressed and helpless（又沮丧又无助），Eric burst into tears.

2.Curious to know what was happening inside（很想知道里面在发生什么），Eric pushed the door open and slipped into the house.
