一、 节气说到春天，不能不提到二十四节气。节气的划分用于指导中国古代的农事，反映季节与气候的变化。直到现今，节气在我们的生活中还是有一定意义的。
春天六个节气的英文分别是：
立春 the Beginning of Spring
雨水 Rain Water
惊蛰 the Waking of Insects
春分 the Spring Equinox
清明 Pure Brightness
谷雨 Grain Rain
其中惊蛰的叫法特别有意思，“蛰”字指昆虫动物在冬天不吃食物，在土地中冬眠，等到天气变暖，下雨打雷惊醒了这些动物，所以惊蛰就翻译成 the Waking of Insects。
二、天气春天到来，枯枝长出新芽，花儿含苞待放，一切生机蓬勃，这样美好的天气要怎么用英文说呢？
要说今天天气很好的话，形容天气好，一般不说 It is a good day.，而是说 It's a beautiful/nice day.
而晴朗的、和煦的好天气，可以用 sunny/lovely/fair/bright 形容。
天气好的时候最适合赏花 flower viewing。开花的英文是 bloom，除了 flower 之外，bloom 和 blossom 也是「花」的意思喔！前后两者的区别是，bloom 是作观赏的花；blossom 则是开在树上、会结果的花。

三、短语Rosie找了三个和 spring 有关的常见短语，来看看它们代表的意思：

spring chicken 指在春天出生的小鸡。以前农夫做鸡的买卖的时候， spring chicken 因为较为新鲜，所以可以开出比较高的价格。现在 spring chicken 用来指「年轻、有活力的人」。相反的，no spring chicken 就是指「青春已逝」，常常用来暗讽一个人不再年轻。
